We LOVE OUR MAKERS, LOVE OUR PLANET and LOVE WHAT WE CREATE.

We do not have all the answers yet, but we aim to do better with every collection and we hope to have your support.

Made-to-Order

WHY MADE-TO-ORDER?

Made-to-Order means no overstock, no overproduction and for us is the foundational block of developing ethical and sustainable production practices.

Creating a luxury product uses precious resources, so for us the key to true modern luxury is to respect those and not to use more than actually necessary.

How does it work?

1.

You pick the One

Find the style you love and place an order. You only pay a 50% deposit.

2.

We make it for YOU

Shoes take time to make and we only make what our customers truly desire. .

We personalise every pair with the wearer’s name or initials.

3.

Dream come true!

The remaining 50% is billed only once the shoes are ready to ship.

Now all that is left for you is to unbox your pair and take it for a walk!

LOW-IMPACT LUXURY

Each pair is made with care and consideration for their intended wearer. Apart from being the most low-impact way of delivering our collection, this approach makes it possible for us to personalise each pair for you.

DELIVERY

To keep the product as affordable and low-impact as possible, we collate our orders for production. We deliver in three drops every year and your delivery window is clearly indicated on the product page.

The Factory

Our manufacturing is located in Vigevano - the cradle of Italian shoemaking. With 40 years of experience, Elisabetta leads the family-owned factory, which still carries her father’s name. Her ever-present mother echoes the values we place on craft:

“We put our soul in each pair”;

and it is true - whether it is a bit of magic, or the skill passed down over generations, they finish every pair with the time and care awarded to true precious objects of art.

It is exhilarating to watch.

KNOW YOUR SUPPLIERS

We source the highest quality materials from our trusted European-based suppliers. We cherish our personal relationships with our partners, we rely on them and trust them to care as much as we do and to help us deliver the best product possible.

LEATHERS

All our leathers are BY-PRODUCT of the food industry.

We try to use DEAD STOCK leathers, wherever possible, especially when it comes to sampling.

We source leathers of EUROPEAN provenance, with a LIMITED CARBON FOOTPRINT.

WASTE waters and chemicals resulting from their tanning are RECYCLED into fertilisers, additives for other industries, road antifreeze, among other.

The buttery-soft nappa we use in our uppers if it is produced through a CHROME-FREE tanning process - lucky for us, that is the only way to achieve this beautiful colour and feel

TEXTILES

The Viscose in our uppers is from an Oeko-Tex fibre and is FSC (Forest Stewardship Alliance) certified.

The Satin we use is manufactured in compliance with ZDHC MRSL regulations for banned chemical substances in the production and processing of materials.

We aim to avoid polyesters and petrol derivatives in our fabrics.

LESS IS MUCH MORE

Our most important goal is not to use more resources than is actually necessary.

Creating a luxury product uses precious resources and for us the key to true modern luxury is to respect those.
